completed scarf by Lucky XIII, on Flickr

So last week on Wed I finally ordered myself a Schacht Cricket loom through Lionbrand since it was on sale and a bit cheaper from there anyway. It arrived Saturday morning before the storm hit. After making sure everything was ready for the storm, I unpacked my loom and put it together and warped it. I finished it up on Sunday. I made the warp a bit too short but I'll get the hang of that eventually.

The yarn I used for the weft is Wool-Ease in the color Autumn. The weft is in the color Fisherman that came with the loom.

Thank you. I tried to keep things even as I work so it would not get weird on me while weaving.

Just added my second one to first post Cheesy

Wow! Those are very nice! Your selvages are great! It took me more than a few projects to even mine out. Cheesy The Cricket was my first loom and it's still my favorite.

Thanks Cheesy
I'm finding weaving to be addicting. I think I'm going to bust through my yarn stash quickly now, which is a good thing!

#3 was taken off the loom last night but I still need to upload the pictures. I already have yarn for my next one picked out. I'm glad I'm going to have a nice amount of scarves to donate this winter! Cheesy

I also want to try making a bag or something other than a scarf. I've seen lots of projects, it's just figuring out which I want to do first!

Here is #3! Figured I'd just keep updating this thread since this part of the form seems to be moving a bit slow right now!
