Chunky Houses Halloween Edition Rnd 2 (Mail by 10/15)

Maybe I'm getting way too into these houses, but I won't be sending early. Sorry for the wait partners, but I want them to follow this tiny obsession and I seem to be picky about them.  They must be * just so* to be right.  The neighborhood is progressing, slowly.

There's nothing wrong with taking your time! Picky is good and details are important (or so I keep telling my pokey self).

It feels like I've lost inspiration, or maybe I'm only really lazy. The houses has been resting besides me PC screen at home for over a week, I tell myself that it's only x amount of days left but still I haven't lifted a finger to finish them.

At least I don't need to worry about how out of place they would be besides other houses, since they are different, but in a good way.

One house done, unless I want to add more things to it, and the other three houses are between 40%-80% done, at least those numbers make me happy.

I know how this feels.  I was the same way with a couple of the houses I made...  they just sat out on the table.  I finally worked on them bit by bit, taking breaks and sleeping on ideas until they were finally finished.
Other times, it takes a late night with a good beverage and motivating music

I'm just getting ready to snap a few photos before the rain. My houses will be shipped tomorrow. Yay!


Edit: the rain got me, so my packages will go out tomorrow 10/14 - everything is packaged and labels printed, just need the mail lady now!

Message to all:

I've noticed that not everyone has posted photos of the houses they have received (link to the gallery is on the first post right under the title of the swap).  Everyone answered "yes" to the camera question, so there shouldn't be any missing photos.  If you're waiting for a grand finale when you have all of your houses... let's not do that.  Craftster has free image hosting.  Also, the posts can be viewed as "Images Only".
If your weather has been bad or you're only available at night, let your partner know and I'm sure they would be happy to post photos for you.

As the deadline creeps up behind me and scares me I can't help thinking that my houses are not that great, I love them, but they aren't the traditional mixed media that I see others use. Do hope my partners will like the recycled mixed media Halloween house
