I agree Lili even though I've finished I love the updates of everyone elses. There has been such creativity with all the different yarns. I can't wait to see some more finished products!

Mine is done!

A couple of things I learned about Rowan Kidsilk Haze:

It does NOT frog! At all. None, zip, zero, zilch, nada. So take your time and don't screw up.

It's gorgeous and has an "ethereal" feeling to it. And it's perfect for a warmer weather scarf. And you just feel so posh with it touching your skin.

Good needles are key. Preferably wooden or bamboo with nice pointy tips. I worked my scarf on Lantern Moon needles. They were the only ones I could get to work just so. If your LYS will let you, try to cast on with the needles you intend to buy, before you buy them.

Umm. . .yeah.  Mohair does not frog.  I had to learn it the extremely hard way by knitting this scarf. . .

This is fantastic seeing the same scarf done in all these various kinds of yarns! I'm just not feeling my scarf (I'm about halfway through) and I think it's because I'm using crap yarn. I don't mind using cheap yarn for crocheting baby blankets but when it comes to scarves blah. I will finish this scarf though!

I havent worked on my scarf in forever, ive got so many things piling up! I will get it done though! I just need to set aside some time to work on it. at 25 minutes a repeat, it certainly takes me a while... I just need to get motivated again.

Shmooey, I feel your pain.  I started this so long ago, and between two deaths in the family and all the other crap going on, I haven't been able to finish it. I have about 6 repeats left to go.  I was hoping to have it done for my mom for mom's day.  Oooops, that didn't happen.  But I WILL have it done before they come up and we meet in Boston in 4 weeks.  In fact, I'm going to try and have it done by this weekend, so I can start on something new.

Everyone else's scarves looks so amazing!  Hopefully, I'll be able to post mine soon!

No kidding... Im so sorry to hear about your loss... I lost my brother over thanksgiving, and its been really hard to focus on anything. With this pattern you really have to pay attention and be somewhere quiet so you can keep track of what yuour doing. I know lots of times when im home alone and try and knit since its quiet in the house- i just get so overcome that i cant do anything with it. Very sad.

At least the scarf looks pretty... right?
