donutgirl - What yarn are you using? It shows the lace beautifully!

I'm using Rowan 4ply cotton in Marine (on size 6 needles). It looks black in the picture but it is really a dark blue.  I'm pretty happy with it so far. Need to buy another ball though to finish and I'm nervous about the dye lots. Eek.

Pynn, yours are gorgeous! I love it in the kidsilk haze

Thanks for the suggestions on switching colors, justlease. I was worried it might look weird but the colors seem to be changing less gradually than I expected and I think it is going to be alright. Here's another peek:

Wow!  Gorgeous, lovely scarves, crafty gals!

Yeesh!  The colors look very washed out in this photo.  Here are three more in dark barn red Cascade 220, deep indigo/purple Mountain Colors wool, and green tea ice cream-ish Jo Sharp DK.  The green one has no errors.  I need to block them.

AAAAHHHHHHHH! this is killin gme :-/ I started this 3 times and I dont get it. I just started knitting 6 months ago and I have never done lace and I thought this would be easy but I dont know the english knitting terms so I get confused and I really want to do this.

All your scarves look so good. I am jealous.

twotwentysix, don't give up!  I frogged my first scarf twelve times!  My advice to you is use a lifeline and check out knittinghelp.com.  I'm new to knitting, too, and it took me four Branching Out Scarves to get the hang of this pattern!  Best of luck!
