Wow- these are some great packages!

I love the mirror and the knitted goddess (her rainbow hair is fab!). That painting is very cool, as is the clay incense box(? is that what it is?). I love all three bags- the blue goddess is so pretty, the embroidery is beautiful, and that patchwork one is just fantastic! I adore that handcarved stamp, and the journals are both lovely.

I'm just loving this gallery! Smiley

Sheesh, apparently they put a tag somewhere on the package I sent that says "ship as slowly as possible"!  It seems like it has been sitting in Greensboro, NC for *days*.  I'm hopeful maybe they just aren't doing check-ins along the way, and maybe it is a lot closer to its destination.  C'mon, USPS!

Hooray!!! I received my package from Rosie1981!!!!! Prepare for picture-ie goodness, muah-ha-ha-ha!!!!!

First, we have a gorgeous painted hoop with the wings of Isis attached. The quote is an amazing one from Starhawk. I'm pretty sure my roommate is jealous.  Tongue

Next we have an oh so sumptuous skoodie (no idea on the spelling with that one). I absolutely LOVE it!!! It's going to be so nice and warm, which is great for Washington state fall/winter!

Then what do I see, but this beautiful red painted box! And it even has two of my favorite symbols painted on it in a delicate glitter. Which is nice, cause I've known quite a few people to take glitter to the extreme; it can get everywhere!

And what do we have inside the box?

More goodies!!!! There's a bottle full of beads (I think there's a thread crochet doily in my future....), a jasper bracelet, a quartz point, another bag of interesting beads, and a tiger's eye necklace!!!  Grin Grin I love tiger's eye!!!!

And at the bottom of the package? I found this...

I wasn't sure what this was at first. It almost looked like something you'd shoot fireworks out of (don't get me wrong, I'd love something like that! Tongue) It wasn't until I read the card she sent with the package that I found out it was a wish box! What an amazing idea; write your prayer/wish/rant on a slip of paper, slide it in a tube, and leave it to the gods.

I love everything Rosie sent me, it's all so gorgeous, and so thought out. The skoodie is something that I've been thinking of making for a while now, and I can wear it as a stole if I want too!

And of course, my cat had to see what Rosie's house smells like......
