Oh, I know it LOOKS like an ordinary shoebox but you should never EVER underestimate what hidden treasures might be inside a lowly shoebox.



It's not totally finished but I figured I'd share with my favourite little house peeps. Still have to pad it out a bit and add a few more things but I'm pretty happy with it. The thing I love MSOT is that hasn't cost me a penny! I wanted to really get into the whole 'borrower' spirit and everything was made from things already on hand.

No detail shots just yet. I'll wait until it's actually done and post them in the challenge thread.

The Borrowers series were my favorite books of all time. I love how your wee house furnishings are "borrowed."

I haven't been able to show any of what I have done. Been to the hospital with my oldest son, and now we are "stuck" at my mothers house, so I don't have all my craftstuff with me 

But I have done some small books and ... I think it was something more.
And I have a new computer so I can blog about my stuff! Will show some pics later

Hi I'm Sakuracat23 and iv been stalking this thread for a long time.lol
iv been searching for the perfect thing to turn into a wee house and last week I found it. My mom made a little 3room house about 20 some years ago and somewhere down the line it ended up in my stuff. It was an epic find for me and iv already painted 2 rooms and laid down flooring on the top floor! I'll try and post pics tomorrow.

I am also new here (a long time lurker), and this is just what I have been looking at starting. My auntie is a builder (well builds her own homes) and before she does she makes a mini model of what it will look like. And I love it! I always wanted to start doing this myself, and my 10 year old son shows an interest also, so this thread might be a way for us to have a go together. So I might tag along if that ok
