I haven't worked on my cardboard wee house in ages but I think it's time I finish it. I managed to get hold of the "House with Veranda"  but I promised myself that I could only start with it once I finished my wee cardboard house so today I made 2 'couches' from TP tubes.

OMG you guys, the miniature gods have smiled upon me! My aunt who lives several states away found out that I like making miniatures, and it turns out that she was really into making doll houses back in the 90s and had a bunch of stuff laying around and decided to pass it on to me.

She gave me two magazine holders full of miniatures magazines, a whole fancy kit for making a little greenhouse and potting shed, several mini terra cotta flower pots, a few complete mini furniture kits (replica antique furniture like a Queen Anne antique candle holder), little pots of wood stain, some thinly cut sheets of wood, a little saw and mitre box (!), supplies for making little plants, and other various bits and bobs. I was so thrilled when I opened it up!

It's all 12:1 scale so a little bigger than what I've been doing so far, but there are a few little things I can use in my current house. Looks like my next project may need to be a little garden scene.

Ashgrim, congratulations! I had something similar happen to me with my aunt too. She also gave me the Greenleaf Pierce dollhouse kit, which is way, way, way bigger than anything else I've worked on.

katara, I love the chairs!

I've been working on my house again lately. I made curtains, twig chairs, a bookcase and painted tons of wood minis for it. I also made one book last night and plan to do a few more tonight. I still have to make a table, a twig bed, a matchbox dresser... I really wanted a wood stove for the house too and I found a tutorial (in Spanish) on Pinterest that I'm going to try.

I made 2 more things for my wee cardboard house :-) A shelving unit and a small table with a lamp.

Such a great butterfly room, knickers! I love the little spilt glitter pot on the floor and the scrunched up papers.

If anyone has a dollar tree around, check out the nail care section, i just loaded up on eight packs of tiny glass jars filled with glittery things! Smaller than the ones found at craft stores even
