Oh my goodness, I had no idea that little puzzle kit was virtually identical to a 'real' dollhouse! I had to google and look Smiley  That's the one I'm working on too, but I'm going to try and make the outside look kinda like the cover of a leatherbound book. I hope.

Ohh that would make a great steampunk or safari adventurer home!
You can get a printie to print out a lion skin or zebra skin rug... Wink
and things like that..

OR..lots of gearts and cogs etc...hahahaha you might need 2 little houses as well maybe!  Grin

Hah! That's exactly where I'm going with this. This will become a steampunked Victorian inhabited by an explorer Borrower. I think. That's the plan anyway! That way I can incorporate lots of 'found' items as well as actually miniatures. I have it wallpapered inside already, and black vinyl ready to cover the outside. I've been taking pics as I go and I think I'm getting close to enough posts here to be able to add them  Grin

I'd say there should be some sort of husbands support group, but mine has his own deal. He's a total bookaholic so fair's fair!  Grin  (and I think this is post #10, granting me the glorious ability to post pics! yay!)  To be somewhat vaguely on topic, have you figured out which way you're gonna go on the exterior?

Just testing to see if I have this posting pics things right, I haven't done this in eons!  If I've done it correctly, this should be a pic of the Victorian puzzle house after dry fitting and deciding to do away with the dividing wall and the stairs Smiley

This is the scrapbook paper I chose for the attic and I'm just ridiculously happy with how it looks  Grin

My little crooked house...I'm still fiddling with the interior and not ready to glue anything down just yet. Not in any hurry since this is my first attempt at doing a house and NOT following the directions!!! lol    Shocked

It is so nice to just be able to do the houses the way we want and not what the kiddies want! Cheesy

I love your attic wallpaper...the house is going to be epic...I am going to pull mine off the shelf and get back to it after gardening/canning season is over...I hate clearing off the kitchen table when I am working on my house!

Love the idea of combining parts of two houses...now I need to see if I have a Michael's coupon waiting for me in my emails!

If you have a smart phone Michaels has an app that has their coupons. You just show them the coupon on your phone at checkout.
