Wee House Craftalong-Ongoing 2011-Forever!

My sister is moving out of my house, so I get my craftroom back! The steampunk house shall happen again!

YAY! Looking forward to it!

Thanks to all those who liked my house so far  Always, I'm especially fond of the mitered door frames too, so I decided to do that to all of the frames (including windows). I think I'll be happier with the details when it's done, but it's taking....soooooooo ....long......!!!! And my hands are HATING me! Gaaaaaah!

I haven't taken any more pictures, but I did finally glue the house walls together!

I spent yesterday sanding and painting the pieces for the front porch, the stairs, and a couple of assorted trim pieces. 

Most of what is left from the kit is the outside trim pieces.  I think I am going to add a bunch of interior trim to cover up some of the issues where pieces meet on the inside (especially those where I learned that I needed to sharpen/replace my Xacto ).

I scored a few of those mini clamps/clips at the hardware store for $1!!!

I realized when I was working on my house that a few tools and supplies would have made my life so much easier!

I also bought new blades for my cutting tools and a huge bottle of white glue...

Haha, if non-crafty people ever heard us go crazy over craft supplies, I'm pretty sure they'd think we all need to be put away.

sooooo true!  In fact, my husband is a perfect case in point - he just pretty much tolerates (sometimes only barely...) my insane craft obsession!

I was scanning rather than really reading and at first I thought this said "and a huge bottle of white wine..."   

Some days that would be a great addition to the craft supplies...
