Holy smokes that wine set is gorgeous! Good thing I've got no pennies or I'd spend them all on things like that Smiley

SO - I just obsessively went through all 100 pages, made notes in a word document about individual things on different pages that I want to refer to later. AND just got the dollhouse kit (create o logy regular dollhouse) that I bought in Oct/Nov back from where I stashed it at mom's house. Bookmarked a ton of the links. I'm plotting and planning as we speak - took the empty creamer containers and jelly containers from breakfast this morning and then found a small basket that might work really well as a bed...
I've also saved most of the printables from various pages so I can work on those. I think I'll need to wait until Jan when the kids go back to school to start on the actual house, but I can make a lot of the stuff for the inside!
What amazing work you have all done!

I'm a bit late joining in, but literally the week I was going to go to Michael's to buy the dollhouse kit, my spouse lost his job. Now that he's finally working again after three months, I've not only bought the veranda house, but I also picked up another Creatology kit too, and I plan to buy the furniture set this weekend, along with more mini hutches.

I'm working on the veranda house now and it's a lot of fun, although I am just a bit obsessive about it.  Wink This project is making me feel closer to my late mom. She bought me my first dollhouse kit and she put it together, then I painted it. I still have it, along with tons of furniture and other minis. It's been great getting back into this hobby, which has been an interest of mine for about 30 years now.

My house was supposed to be a fairy house, but then I got this whole story idea to go along with the house and well, it's still a rustic forest cottage, but it's home to a young woman and her animal friends. I've been gathering twigs, curly vines, pine cones, acorns, etc. I also have so many ideas for other themed houses, especially a Christmas one as a tribute to my mom, who went completely over the top with her decorating every year.

When my computer is working again (I'm borrowing one of the spouse's computers now and it's really uncomfortable sitting at his desk), I will read through all 100 pages, plus look at all the links in the first post.

welcome to this crazy bunch...such an inspiring and fun craftalong...so many possibilities and it really does engage your imagination and resourcefulness skills!

Be warned...it is addicting!  I walk with my eyes to the ground in case I find something I can use...Grin

I have been filling my notebook with ideas for this and future houses (yes, I bought two more in case they run out...)...but I would love to do smaller houses and unusual houses as well (still eating oatmeal, teag...)...

lol you poor thing- I also have a notebook of ideas and have four of five more unusual house ideas-

I am making all of my own furniture some of it is being made from bark of the sycamore tree across the street from my house- every year the tree sheds it's bark down to the trunk- quite a few of the pieces made it to my yard- when I picked them up to clear the yard I noticed how thick this bark was- it ranges from 1/8" to 3/8" inch thick and much stronger/denser than balsa wood and free!

so it definitely pays to look down when walking
