Sweets, that's a fantastic start!

Welcome, aluraceleste.  Can't wait to see what you and your boyfriend come up with.

Oh Phizzy - love that roof! Can we get a close up of your opened book?

Thank you! This is the best photo I have at the moment. It's a fabric swatch book with (squiggly) notes and matching button/ribbon info. Not that it's in any way readable... Cheesy

Aww I love it! I love how interactive it looks.

---
I found some pretty scrapbook paper that I used for a counter. I glued it on and put some Triple Thick on it. I also put Triple Thick in the sink. It's drying right now.

I also made a faucet with some water coming out of it. I used a q-tip for the faucet and little beads for the handles. I used hot glue for the water.

I also made some potion bottles.. because why not!

Last post of the night, I promise.

I finished my kitchen sink for the most part. I still need to tame the water spout a little bit.. maybe use a hot knife to make the top smaller. Then I need to add door knobs.

I also took the back off of my couch and made it into a window seat. I had been planning on making an open bookshelf seat, but I may keep this.

So I did some things to my house finally! I finished the roof, made a "potions" table, and made a desk too..and two rugs!  less talky, more looky! Sorry the pics are kinda crappy, my camera died and all I had was my cell phone..

Front view...I love the bright green moss with the dark colors...somehow, it just works.,..

Instead of the crappy light they give you to put here, I put tacky glue down, used stickymax to put the tombstones down, then moss around them so it looks like they are overgrown.

I just thought the front window was too plain, so I cut out the crossbars with wire cutters (lol), and stuck this cute birdie in there!! He's massive compared to the scale of the house, but frankly, I don't give a damn!

Window box on the right side of the house...

The lower story bay window. The upper one (no pic) has a spider hiding in the moss, and there's one on the roof too Cheesy

The little area off one of the rooms. This is right above the aforementioned window box. It's my "potions" table. I used a table from the Creatology furniture kit, painted it black and used super glue to glue beads and bead caps together., I then used stickymax to make them stay. There's another "bottle" to the left of the large clear one.

Pic didn't turn out so hot, but eh. It's a rug for the "potions" room. I just cut a piece of fabric to size then frayed the ends by hand. Staying in place with the help of stickymax (love this stuff!!!)

And last, but not at all least, my desk!!! I love this thing! Used another table from the kit. Painted it brown then did black over the legs and wiped that away (best I could) to make it look old. Scrolls are just white paper with wood furniture marker coloring, "bottles" are again beads and bead caps, pencil is the end of a craft stick, and the books were made with tiny stacks of paper..I used thread to make the closure for the red book, aka the "Grimoire"!

Thanks for looking!!!

Oh such creativity!!

Varuna--I love that you put a bird in the window!  I think having something large adds to the fantasy that these are wee houses...

The moss and the tombstones are also ideas worth borrowing for my next spooky house!

lvlOrg4n--your sink with the faucet (q-tip!!!) is fabulous...

I also think it is pretty interesting that this group is really into books!  That warms my heart!  I made books from little leather/suede pieces using a gold paint pen to guild (sp?) the pages...I planned on finishing up some swap projects last night but spent it working on my house...

Camera batteries are charging so I will post pics when I can download them!

Great job!

I especially love the wee carpet! Small detail, I know, but very nicely done.

Check out this miniature sleigh bed made of cardboard! http://1inchminisbykris.blogspot.com/2011/10/tribute-to-card-stock.html

Varuna, your house is really coming together! Love your rug!
The sleigh bed is fabulous! I think I want to make my own version of it....
Has anybody looked at the marble-top wine rack on the same site? It's pretty incredible.
