Wee House Craftalong-Ongoing 2011-Forever!

A little late to the party, but here is how my house has been sitting for months:













Interior decorating is definitely not my forte, so I get frustrated really easy.  The hardest part is trying to make the whole house look cohesive

Okay these Creatology kits are a pain! I'm working on putting together the dollhouse one and it is so frustrating! I'm wishing now I had gone with the Greenleaf kit I had planned.

CamOovas, I think your house is looking great so far!  I love all the tiny stuff you've put in there already - especially the globe and the teeny key.  I'm not at the interior decorating part quite yet, but I'm thinking about it a lot.  I'm not worrying about making my house look cohesive necessarily.  Rather I'm imagining things about the character that lives there and what she might have.

So far I know about her:
-she's a fairy (so her house really is that small, I'm not trying to make a normal house look small)
-she's a seamstress
-she's not rich from her sewing, but it keeps her going and she's not too poor either
-she smokes a pipe
-her house is old (she might be too, I'm not sure how long fairies live)
-she's they type of fairy that both steals things from humans sometimes, but also buys things from her local fairy potter/blacksmith/etc.
-it's wintertime
-she doesn't have electricity or running water

I also know:
-I'm a dork who is having way too much fun with this project

if i seen this a few days ago... but anyway im annoyed Ive been wanting to do one of these houses for AGES! but i think im going to try see if i can make a room or something first in a shoebox because i dont have the money / the space for these but would love to do one  i really wish i did I love all these wee houses!

It's just scrapbook paper I picked it up in Scotland 3 years ago and have been hoarding it for just the right project ever since.

Does anyone have any recommendations for jars that would be in scale for this sized dollhouse? The smallest I can find are one inch.
