The doll's hair and costume are quite lovely and she has a sweet face.

I'm glad folks are still active in this thread.  I have many miniature projects I want to work on, but having trouble starting!  Tongue

Shocked I have just spent the last two weeks or so reading through this thread. You folks have some serious talent! My mother collected miniatures when I was a kid and changed out her shadowbox display every month or so, and as much as I loved helping with them, I have thus far resisted the urge to start my own collection, but now I am very very tempted to give in! I would love to have a fairy stump... and a haunted house... and a brick Victorian library... and a mad scientist lab.. Ack!  Cheesy

I think I may test the waters with a diorama. My friends and I have "themes" for Christmas every year, and this year's theme is along the lines of horror/twisted Christmas. I threw out the idea of making a "Rosemary's Baby" nativity scene, and it was very well received, so I just may have to do it.

None of this "may have to" nonsense! You MUST do it. If you don't you'll make me whine. No one wants to hear me whine.  Wink

I realized as I was posting that I was hoping someone would enable, I mean, encourage me, haha! And with that done, it's time to start planning.  Grin Do you all ever start with a sketch or something, or do you more make it up as you go?

I generally start with lists. I'll write down things that may fit with my theme, possible accessories, ideas, and then maybe do a terrible sketch to plot where things will go. Whether what actually ends up being made looks anything like the sketch is a whole other matter Wink

I bought some supplies yesterday. I got a little shadow box for it, and pieces for peg people.

I'm so excited to get started!
