YAY! I got the dollhouse with veranda plus sculpey (4/$5 at Michaels'!). The house was with the "ready to paint " wood section and they also had the other two styles. After I make this one (for a Christmas present) I want to make one for myself . Any tips are welcome Smiley (The theme is "Tangled")
The house is now under the company Art Minds (I think that's why I couldn't find it online Smiley)

The main thing to remember is to do any wall, floor, and ceiling painting or papering, woodwork, etc before you assemble the house for good.  Trying a test fit assembly with tape is good, to see how the pieces fit together, and marking them "floor" "side wall" "back wall" etc so you know how they're oriented, so you don't accidentally put the wallpaper going sideways, or something....  :p

When you decorate the pieces remember to consider fitting them back together. Adding paper or a even a thin layer of paint will affect the way theyfit together.

I'm so glad this craftalong is still alive! Grin I'm finally almost done with my first of many mini houses (I'm working on the Dollhouse with Veranda now). I just have the twig bed to finish and the house will be all set. I hope to get the bed frame finished today and once the glue is dry, I'll work on the mattress, blankets, and pillow.

I also have the other two Creatology/Artminds houses, plus another Dollhouse with Veranda from Michaels. Then I have Greenleaf/Corona Concepts Buttercup, Travel Trailer, and The Pierce to work on at some point. My aunt gave me The Pierce kit and I love that house, but it's so enormous that I don't have anywhere to put it. If anyone on this thread lives in or near Vermont or ever travels there, I highly recommend a visit to The Dollhouse and Toy Museum of Vermont in Bennington: http://dollhouseandtoymuseumofvermont.com/www.dollhouseandtoymuseumofvermont.com/Welcome.html I went there last month and the collection is great, plus the owner is so nice and friendly and she had a lot of helpful advice. There was a Pierce in the museum and it's such an amazing dollhouse, but I was a bit taken aback by just how huge it is.  Shocked
