One more to show the slate roof too. The clips are holding the roof on since I cut off the tabs. Smiley

Suzy--your slate roof turned out wonderful...I have been wanting to try the egg carton stone/slate technique!

Also, what a great idea to do a dilapidated house...I like the whole "urban decay" genre!

Ludi...I saw the finished bridge and thought it was your inspiration...uh...it is your finished bridge!! wow...very realistic...is that a tiny motocycle helmet on the bridge?

It's a helmet for auto racing.  The female figure is of Denise McCluggage, a famous female racer whom I sculpted and my husband digitized.  He digitally sculpted her helmet and the photographer.   Smiley

I think so!  We've worked with each other since before we were married, and we love creating things together.  Smiley

That is such a blessing.  So many people don't have relationships like that.  Thankfully, I do, even tho my honey is creative in different ways than I am.  Wink

Thanks y'all!
I didn't have enough egg cartons so I used the recycled paper packing material from one of my husbands computer boxes and watercolor paints. My little tip for working with the small pieces, instead of tweezers I used a wood matchstick and dipped the head on a glue stick to pick up the pieces and put them in place.

I'm trying to decide what the rooms will be. I took out the stairs since they were so bulky. I think the top room might be an attic with little trunks for storage. Maybe a bedroom on thhe 2nd floor...and what else? Any ideas?

Some more in progress photos.  It doesn't look like much yet, but my wee house is coming along.
