I finally have enough egg cartons to make the outside walls...so I'm going to try this again...going to paint, wallpaper and such, then worry about getting the walls up...so far I've not been able to find clamps.  Maybe I"ll have my husband hold it together while it dries.   Grin

Well I am extremely unhappy with my house. None of the pieces fit togehter, some of them are warped...the front wall and second floor don't fit together, the attic floor doesn't meet the top of the walls, the porch doesn't fit either. I painted it the exact same amount as the last one. I literally had to glue it together to keep it together. I'm not happy at all. bah. Sad

I feel for you, xmissmayhemx!  I just spent the last two days assembling a lasercut advent calendar.  I have blisters!

I figure I'll just cover up the gaps with vines and make it look like an old crumbly Victorian. lol.

You could also use some of that wall putty for filling in little holes to disguise your gaps. I've used it to smooth out splits in wooden items I wanted to paint before. Just go in thin coats until it's even, sand, and off you go. Just be careful it's not pushing through the other side into your house when you apply it.

Spackle is your friend. Also, if you pack your house full-o-stuff no one will care about a few little gaps Wink

My mum came for a visit this weekend and brought me another unloved house! It was sitting at the side of the road waiting for the trash. Apparently my 79 year old grannie jumped out of the car, ran over, rescued it and then they sped off before anyone could stop them.  Cheesy
