Haha, if non-crafty people ever heard us go crazy over craft supplies, I'm pretty sure they'd think we all need to be put away.

sooooo true!  In fact, my husband is a perfect case in point - he just pretty much tolerates (sometimes only barely...) my insane craft obsession!

I also bought new blades for my cutting tools and a huge bottle of white glue...

I was scanning rather than really reading and at first I thought this said "and a huge bottle of white wine..."   Cheesy

Some days that would be a great addition to the craft supplies...

*holds out my glass*

And not just glue, but glues! White school glue, like Elmers, and E6000, and fabric glue, and gluesticks. Liquid scuply and acrylic sealer and spray on clear top coat. Yep. And of course they're all necessary!

I find it amusing that not all my friends do not have two boxes in their living room dedicated to wee house supplies...

I have one box of the tools, glues, etc. and the other with stuff to use in or on the house...

...and, uh, white wine is a valuable and much used crafting supply

No wine for me, I haven't touched alcohol (other than for tinctures) in years.

I'm cutting out the scrapbooking pages/wallpaper at the moment and the drawback I'm experiencing with my house is having to combines sheets because the walls are so large.  I'll have to figure out a way to cover the seams.  Other than that, things are going well.

real house have wallpaper seams...Cheesy  maybe you could cut your paper like real rolls of wallpaper (smaller, of course!)...I think it would be fine...could you use other trims like ric rac or even bias tape?  Those would be interesting!

You know, I just realized how much of a perfectionist my comment made me out to be.  Haha...  It just looks a bit odd that there's only one seam on the wall, and that it's off to the side.  But it's not the end of the world by any means.  I have lots of sewing notions and I'm sure I can make it work.

I can't wait to get to the point of having great progress shots to share.

oh--I see--you had already put on the pieces!  I thought you were just figuring out how to do it...I can "see" what you mean now...if you had enough paper to match up the prints, it might not be seen at all...

I think these small scale houses can be as perfect or imperfect as you want!  Small, nice details are part of why I love this craftalong...I can't wait to see your progress shots!
