Can I have some fishy crackers?

My bedroom renovation has been a saga of epic proportions, seeing as my parents wanted to buy my new furniture and be done, whereas I wanted to redo all of said furniture and drag it out for as long as possible Smiley So I took my 45-year-old chest of drawers dresser thing, and gave it a facelift!

I had always wanted to try decoupaging fabric onto furniture, but never had a good excuse to do so until now!

A before...

I used about 6 or 7 layers of ModPodge Hard Coat for the drawer fronts, sanding with 400grit between every two coats, and then a ModPodge clear matte sealer to finish it off. The body of the dresser is a combo of white primer, spray paint, and wall paint, as I 1. Ran out of my original spray paint, 2. DROPPED the sander onto the top of the dresser and gouged a chunk out, and 3. Did this all outside in the horrendous winds lol!

Some in progress shots...

More details on mah bloggy Smiley

Thanks so much for looking!

That's gorgeous! I'm going to be doing a similar project soon. I'll try not to drop the sander. Grin
