I picked up two, not very attractive, frames from a flea market. Decided that I would try to get rid of some fabric leftovers on this project. I sanded the frame before gluing on the fabric.

I used a lot of gel medium both over and under the fabric so it was not a problem to make it follow the shape of the frame.

For now I have left the frame unthreaded because I cant make up my mind if I want a matt or a shiny surface.

Wow that turned out incredible! I would never have even considered such an upgrade. Very well done; it looks fantastic!

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I love this kind of frame.  And I NEVER find anything like them while I am out.
My color choice would be different, but it turned out great.

That's really cute.  What a great idea for fabric scraps too.  I might have to borrow this idea.  Smiley
