Still crafting away. Cards are pretty much done. I just need to track down a few more addresses. My big goal for the week is to have all the recipes for my cookbook typed out by the end of the week.

Updated List

Cards With Photo (approx 40)
- make lino cut done!
- print cards
- wrangle the hubster and puppers into a photo
(puppers refused to be wrangled and was a crazy butthead instead. christmas photos being sent out sans puppers.)

Friends & Co-Workers (in town):
   - homemade caramel

Inlaws and unexpected peoples
- little cookbook zine of my favorite recipes
    - type up recipes
    - illustrate
    - layout pages / table of contents
    - print and bind

Sister (birthday, too)
- knit socks done!
- easy-peasy apron - materials acquired. Next step - fix sewing machine. Tongue

Nephew
- fort kit

Bromeister
- art of some sort??

Mom & Dad
- framed family photo of kids/grandkid - will do just before Christmas when I can get all the siblings together.

Hubster
- Huh We get one big gift together for the both of us (usually a vacation or something for the house) and then just fill a stocking of small things for each other. Might make him a new scarf. He only has one.

gave up on homemade and buying presents for:
Mother-In-Law & Father-In-Law - best of East Tennessee gift box
Nieces - a fairy-tale game for the 3 year old and 2 board books for the infant
pseudo brother in law - tie from etsy
mom - bracelets from etsy
dad - book

I decided to give cookies to my co-workers instead of making them all ornaments, so I can now cross that off my list!

Not crafting for many this year.

Cousin, male, age 23 - Changed plan - WSU etched drinking glasses.

Niece, age 3 - Knitted hat in Seahawks colors

Nephew, age 6 - PJs specific to his favorite things. *Not even started*

Nephew, age 1 - Doggy shaped blanket. Mostly done. Just need to snip snip snip... (Simplicity 4993) (Niece/nephews get a blanket from me for their second Christmas.)

Boyfriend - Canceled. Bought him all the spices instead. Because I'm just lazy. And he'll be just as pleased. Might still make him taco seasoning from scratch because he doesn't believe I do...(because I am pretty terrible in the kitchen).

Grandparents - Greeting cards. (All of use grandkids work together on a gift each year. Either pooling money for something or making something. This year we are making greeting cards for all occasions because they send actual cards, not e-card, e-mails or texts.  Smiley )

Our Troops - Also making loads of cards for soldiers....which reminds me, those need to go out this Friday.

So ready to be done with finals tomorrow so I can get to all this fun stuff. Especially since most of it needs to be mailed to a different state.  Tongue

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

Hey holiday crafters! Can you do a quick favor for me? I posted a WIP photo of a drawing for my brother and I would be super appreciative if you could take a peek at it and give me any feedback you can. Thanks!

So panic is setting in. My crochet stitch is weird. It isn't the single crochet, I don't know what it is. It got mixed up somewhere during college. Anyway, I'm re-learning and I don't know if I have time to do it the right way for two more scarves/neckwarmers. Plus I got a big cut from my cat on my first finger, which I use to pull over the yarn. GAH. My stitch doesn't look bad, just not a single.

I need to make something by this Saturday for my 11 y.o. secret santa, my first cousin once removed. She is incredibly intelligent and mature for her age. Like a mini-adult that is full of awesome. Only have a couple half ideas for her.

Rawr!!
