I've just started- I have some painted backgrounds and some inchies cut out of different textured papers, but no decoration started yet. Smiley

ETA: Also, it seem so weird to be able to pre-craft!

I have five done so far! I'm so proud of myself! I've done ATCs, but not Inchies before. It's really fun!

What should I be putting on the back of them? There's not as much room as with an ATC, so I thought I would ask...

Also, I bought a square-punch yesterday at the craft store (Joann's--with their sale and a coupon, it was less than $9), and I LOVE it! It makes using scrap paper for inchies super easy and super quick. Now they need to make one that's ATC sized....

I'm glad you asked.  I've wondered the same thing.  Do we sign the backs? Like an ATC?

I have about 6 more to go; hope to be done this weekend.  and will be ready to send once our partners are assigned.

They have been fun to make.

Yay - my first inchie swap!  I've got some non-paper ideas floating around in my mind; I hope I can make them work.  I was wondering about the backs, too.  Do any of the inchie veterans have guidance on that?

I haven't swapped in ages, but I think I'm up for this one!  I've never made an inchie before, but I love papercrafting, and have some great ideas. I can't wait!  Sending questionaire now...

I like to sign and date the back of the inchies I make. If your writing is really small you could even add the swap info too. I think like ATC's it is nice to know who you recieved them from. I know some craftsters have little stickers or a stamp with their information that they add to the back.

Inchies, like atcs should be fairly sturdy. If you draw it on paper or fabric then probably stick some card stock (or an old cereal packet) to the back to make it more sturdy.

I just added some more swappers, we are up to 20 swappers now (20/6 = 3.3333 groups) If we stay at this number it looks like a few people will be constructing a second alphabet!

Hmm, don't know if my idea will work, so I think I'll have to revert to my original idea. Smiley
