Gigantic Yubaba UPDATED - Done! :D

So Yubaba is done, framed and hanging on a wall! Thought I'd just update the post with making-of and final pictures

So this is my cross stitched Yubaba, with my glasses next to her for scale.



Took me maybe 6 months (I kinda lost track, honestly) - pattern made with macstitch, done on 18 count aida, a labour of love and moderate (who am I kidding moderate...) obsession.

All that remains is to somehow join the pieces (i may have stepped on her while half done - mornings and me don't get along so well) and mount her on black fabric, then she's donesies!

Amazing! Spirited Away is one of my favorite Miyazaki films, I watch it over and over again! Great job, your patience has definately paid off.

it's so realistic (or as realistic as cartoons can get) that it kinda scared me at first!  lol.  she always did kinda freak me out.  but this is SO awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'd love to do one of No Face, but all that black would drive me insane!  lol.  WELL DONE!!
