This is an infinity scarf in more ways than one. Not only does it not have an end (well, there is a seam), but it also has multiple ways of wrapping itself.

1. As a necklace...

2. wrapped double...

3. pulled up for a hood...

4. on your shoulders for a drapey cowl cape...

5. or as a shrug.

Very versatile, warm, and cushy. This only took about 2 days on US 15 needles. I used 2 skeins of Loops and Threads Charisma from Michael's (I refer to it as the cheap cousin of Lionbrand Thick n' Quick). It worked up really fast and would be a good project for a beginner. It's simply garter stitch.

You can see the pattern here: http://chewynoodles.blogspot.com/2011/08/new-knitting-pattern-shruggy-buggy.html

Thanks for looking! C & c welcome!  Grin

I like that it is such a simple design and yet has so many ingenious ways of wearing it.  I particularly like the shrug.

I think I just found the perfect yarn for this one, so I'll have to run to the store and start knitting! Cheesy It's a really nice (and easy  Grin ) pattern, thanks for sharing!
