Hello! I think these go here (if not, redirect me to the proper board, please? Cheesy)

These hairclips are made with gathered fabric, buttons, a little sewing, and a little glue Cheesy ohh and obviously little silver hairclips

My blog post on the hairclips (and other things):

For my flower I'm using this stripped grey and white fabric. It's thrifted, I got it for free. It's cotton. I started by cutting a strip that is 22" x 3"

I turned down and stitched each end of the fabric

Then I used my gathering foot to gather the fabric.

Fabric measured around 8.5" after gathering

I curled the fabric together until it made three layers.  Then I stitched the layers together (as shown by those cool black lines haha).

I made a fabric button, stitched it in, and blam! Fabric flower with fabric button!

For more pictures, information, etc, and the tutorial for the fabric buttons - check out my blog post on the flower: http://jordannhall.blogspot.com/2011/09/fabric-flowers-and-fabric-covered.html
