Inspired by this poppet http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=383028.0

I really wanted to make one for the recent verb swap but I didn't think that my sewing skills were up to the task.  I found this doll on Ravelry http://byhookbyhand.blogspot.com/2010/07/pocket-spirits.html and used it as the base for my doll.  I made up the clothes myself with purple glittery yarn and goldfingering.  My favourite part is the hair, it was my first time doing anything like this and I'm really pleased with how she turned out.

And here she is having a dance in her new home:

Thank you for the photo Lionne

My favorite part is the hair too! That's really cool, what kind of yarn was it?

It was a random yarn from my stash, I can't remember where I got it from, sorry.  Thank you for your comment Smiley

It's the same yarn you sent me two skeins of, right? The label says "Knitting Craft Knitting Yarn".
