Since I'm up early, I'll start us off again this week.  Smiley

Made from some colorful wool junk that I held together with black roving with a touch of white in it. The batts reminded me of a seventies black light poster, so this yarn is named "Seventies Black Velvet Poster". I put it up in my shop the swap yesterday on Craftster, and it leaves for Canada today.  Cool

Happy Fiber Friday! I will try to add some other yarns later, if I can. Busy day ahead.

Wow! My brother has one of those posters and the yarn really is very reminiscent of them. Smiley I really like that!

I have a contribution to this week's Fiber Friday! It just finished drying this morning so I got to take it out to my balcony rocking chair where I did most of my spinning. This is my second spin, and the first time I've tried plying anything! It was ridiculously fun to watch the colors wind together, and I still have two ounces left to play with. Cheesy

The length where pink and orange wrap each other makes me ridiculously happy!

I'm not the only spinner on my balcony, either. Every morning there's a different web in the same corner, courtesy of a good sized mystery spinner.

Great yarns ladies!
I'm currently spinning a "for fun" yarn that is going to take me forever and a day because I as I started it, I thought.  "I'm going to spin this super fine and use a worsted draw!"  *shakes head*  Oh well, I'm ordering more bobbins so when I get tired of it I can just do more home work.   Do you guys want to see the homework skeins?  They are pretty  plain.....
Anywho here's a teaser to this months challenge entry.

LLark: That would be interesting to see under a black light.

Song4Drowning: So squishy! I love happy colors! Love the barber pole effect, too. Squee!

Bella, yuck! You make me sick with your perfect yarns and felt flowers and nifty-ness of self. Gosh, you just rock so hard I want to puke rainbows.

And my addition, spun ~3 weeks ago at the Market. 4 oz batt, spun each 1/2 as thick and thing singles then plied each with a different thread. One is plied with blue and the other with copper. Still need to set the twist on these. Batt was BFL lamp locks, Alpaca, SW Merino, and Firestar. I think it was a little felted.  Undecided

Songs4Drowning, I want to grab that yarn and knit something. Now. It looks so fun ans squishy and inviting... Smiley
Belladune, that is amazing! Wow!
Jexxican, I love that yarn! So pretty!

Here are a couple more of mine that I need to ply. This is local Suffolk-Hampshire cross. I think I will make it a two ply.

And this is Fighting Irish, a roving I got from Loves2Experiment in Shop the Swap. I'm trying to decide if I want to ply it with itself or with another single.

If I were a bird, I would steal all these yarns to weave in my nest!
