I've been loving that cross stitch on Pinterest, lucky you to have one of your own!

And I'm looking forwards to seeing all the different shield bracelet incarnations bound to show up in this gallery. It's interesting to see how many people interpret the same thing!

I'm so glad you liked it! I didn't actually cut the shields-- they were pre-formed-- I just ruffed them up for a more "battle-scarred" look. I did not, however, set them on fire.

Mistborn is awesome. You'll love it.

I received today!  I really hope my partner likes her package as much as I like mine.  I'm going to wait to post pics until later today when I can hopefully get some decent lighting.  All the pics I took already are pretty dark.

After fighting with lighting and then with uploading, here are pics from the wonderful package I received from SilverMoon!

It's Sue!  And riding on her neck is...

Harry Dresden!  I love the detail that went into this dinosaur.  She has stripes and eyes and Harry.  It's all I can do to keep my kiddo from stealing her for his own.  I told him that he can't even ask until he reads the books.

Next up is Bob, completely with orange eyes.

This is really well done and has not one, but two pockets.  One for...

A stitch counter and a place for little things.

And one on the bottom to hold this great yarn and a few other surprises.  The yarn can be pulled out of the side of Bob's head.

Also in Bob's head, a Kangaroo keychain.  My kiddo wants to know if this is a bottle opener as well.  I thought I would ask before I go breaking it trying to open a bottle of ginger ale.  And that's the top of Bob's head.

SilverMoon also sent a shield bracelet!  She left it unvarnished so I could paint my own symbols on it if I wanted to.  It looks amazing and I'm quite happy with the shields.

Last, but not least, is this wonderful pentacle and twisty circle.  I love it.

Thank you so much, SilverMoon!  I do have a question, though, is this crochet or knit?  I can't figure it out!

I can't knit at all, so it's crochet Smiley It's from this pattern here on Craftster. It was supposed to be a necklace, but even using thinner yarn and a much smaller hook it still ended up mug rug size. Makes me wonder just how big the original is.

I don't know if the keyring is a bottle opener, though I don't think it is. My mother picks up little bits of Australiana like that at the trading table at her social club for me to add to my overseas swap packages.

(Tell your son I know how he feels. I was all I could do not to pretend I wasn't spoiling you and keep the Sue here with me.) That Sue is my own pattern by the way Wink

I received from Anarchy Cupcakes and get ready to wist! Smiley

The first thing we pulled from the package was this great hand-painted shirt. Mr. Drowning put it on immediately and has yet to remove it. Ha ha.

A huge mixed media piece that AC did when I asked for a protection spell for the room. <3 We're getting this beautiful thing framed this weekend so we can hang it over our bed. <3 Love!

And then she made a very pretty photo frame with adorable portrait of Harry and Bob! We're leaving the picture in the frame and have it up on the nightstand, ha ha!

Thank you Miss Cupcakes and to our fabulous organizer for putting together such a great swap!
