PENGUIN FINGER PUPPET

I did tapestry crochet because of frequent color changing. Also Ive used this tutorial for color changes http://www.planetjune.com/blog/amigurumi-help/changing-colour/
In this pattern parts between brackets are in white and everything else is in black. Good luck!

ARMS/FLIPPERS
With black in front loops of 12th round. Hold the penguin with head facing towards you. For the left flipper- Insert hook in white stitch next to last. Yarn over and draw yarn thru that stitch. Tie a knot. Than yarn over again, pull loop thru same stitch and do one sc into same stitch.  Do five more. Now you have 6sc. Chain one, turn.

Row 1-6:  6sc, chain one, turn
Row 7: dec, 2sc, dec
Row 8: 4sc
Row 9: dec, dec
Row 10: 2sc
Row 11: dec, fasten off.
For the right flipper you count four black stitches from white part in round 12, and this is where you begin same process as for the left wing.

BEAK

With orange. Insert hook below right eye. Yarn over and draw yarn thru that stitch. Tie a knot. Than yarn over again, pull loop thru same stitch and do one sc into same stitch.  Do 4 more.

Row 1: 4sc
Row 2: dec, dec
Row 3: dec. Fasten off

Super cute!  Though the idea of juggling two balls on a project that small scares me, I still kind of want to try it!
