PENGUIN FINGER PUPPET

I did tapestry crochet because of frequent color changing. Also I’ve used this tutorial for color changes

HEAD AND BODY
With black
Rnd 1: 6sc in magic ring
Rnd 2: sc, inc
Rnd 3: 2 sc, inc
Rnd 4: 8sc, (2sc), 4sc, (2sc), 8 sc
Rnd 5: 7sc, (4sc), 2sc, (4sc), 7 sc
Rnd 6: 6sc, (12sc) , 6sc
Rnd 7: 6sc, (12sc) , 6sc (Do the eyes with french knot)
Rnd 8: dec, 2sc, dec, (2sc, dec, 4sc, dec, 2sc), dec, 2sc, dec
Rnd 9: 4sc, (10sc) , 4sc
Rnd 10: sc, dec, sc, (sc, 4 times dec, sc), sc, dec, sc
Rnd 11: sc, inc, inc, (sc, inc, 2sc, inc, sc), inc, inc, sc
Rnd 12: Back loops only - 5sc, (8sc), 5sc
Rnd 13-20: Both loops - 5sc, (8sc), 5sc
Rnd 21: 6sc, (6sc), 6sc
Rnd 22-25: only with black sc around
ARMS/FLIPPERS
With black in front loops of 12th round. Hold the penguin with head facing towards you. For the left flipper- Insert hook in white stitch next to last. Yarn over and draw yarn thru that stitch. Tie a knot. Than yarn over again, pull loop thru same stitch and do one sc into same stitch. Do five more. Now you have 6sc. Chain one, turn.
Row 1-6: 6sc, chain one, turn
Row 7: dec, 2sc, dec
Row 8: 4sc
Row 9: dec, dec
Row 10: 2sc
Row 11: dec, fasten off.
For the right flipper you count four black stitches from white part in round 12, and this is where you begin same process as for the left wing.
BEAK
With orange. Insert hook below right eye. Yarn over and draw yarn thru that stitch. Tie a knot. Than yarn over again, pull loop thru same stitch and do one sc into same stitch. Do 4 more.

Row 3: dec. Fasten off
