I mailed both of mine off today.  The lady at the post office about gave me a heart attack.. she told me it would be $39!!!  Needless to say, I did not mail it the fastest way.   Roll Eyes  I had forgotten how much it cost to ship oversees. 
I love all the monsters!  I cannot pick a favorite.

Lucky day - two swap packages stuffed in my little mailbox.

And let me introduce Smmarrty:

She is made in a "Junker Jane" style (look her up - she makes cool stuff. I bought one of her dolls for myself a few years ago and Susan B. and me, Susan M., both like her stuff). She has a pack of Smarties in her little, crooked mouth, pink cheeks and funky hair. SHE IS PERFECT FOR ME!!

Also included, a bar of my fave dark chocolate.

And the other goodies? Not one, not two, but FIVE headbands - 2 fascinators and 3 cool bands.

Last year, the five-year-olds at the preschool were all about the tiaras, crowns and headbands. Now I can join in the fun!

Thank you so much, Susan. A fabulous swap package!!! So happy, skips off to eat her Cadbury bar....

Smmarrt - now THAT is your style for sure, susanab nailed it, didn't she?  Fantastic Hungry Monster - how do you guys do such original work?!!  I need to let go of the pristine look and get some freedom to my sewing - I really like the fabric, the way it is tinted and the natural color for the eyes to really fit - everything goes together so nicely - I also like the connection between the monster name and the candy roll in the mouth - perfect.   Smiley

I love all the new additions!!!  That cupcake monster with the embroidery is a doll.  I sent mine out today, and since it is Priority Mail for the delivery confirmation, hopefully they will arrive to chughes225 on Monday at the latest!!  I remembered the card, I remembered all the bits and pieces... and then I forgot to put the candy in the nom-noming mouths!!!  Sheesh! :p  But, they are on their way.

I must agree, smmarrty is just SO AWESOME on so many levels! The name, the Junker Jane tribute, and the monster itself-- it really is incredibly creative monster. Hats off to susanab!!
