I received this afternoon from Sarabunny! It was perfect package arrival timing because I was having a rough day. I went from blah to squee in 0.2 seconds. That may be a record!

So my second favorite item is...



this charming book that sarabunny said said was her first try at book binding. Holy Crow great job! It says "Lead me to the truth and I will follow you with my whole life." <3!!!



and how cute is this little surprise banjo on the back inside cover. I love everything about this! The paper covering the back and front insides is amazing!

Take a look at that! That quote is my mantra and I use it often. This again was Sarabunny's first attempt at a papercraft like this. Jeez! Lady has talent!

Yay! I'm so glad you like it! The paper crafting was inspired by a similar cut out quote on your pinterest and the rest grew from there.

Yesterday, I received from fiorinda...And it was fantastic!

First, a keychain which ensures I will never lose my keys in my purse again. It has a bird ("for freedom") and a charm that reads "love", "because, as Marcus says, love will set you free." (Things in quotations are from fiorinda's letter.)



Second, this really lovely charm bracelet. In her letter, fiorinda explains that the snowflake and the butterfly are for winter and spring, based on my favourite lines from Winter Winds (see more below).
(Also with the words "hope" and "love", "because that's what Mumford and Sons is all about.")



My package also included this quilled snowflake ornament. In the photo, it is hanging from the doorknocker on my bedroom door. How does one even begin to make such things?!? I have no idea; it is a skill way beyond me, but fiorinda did a beautiful job and I am very impressed.



And finally, this bright and beautiful Kindle cover (which fits perfectly!) with my all-time favourite M&S lyrics. I love its vibrancy, the jazzy "HOPE" button, and I so admire the beautiful sewing she's done. I feel so inspired, and that's such a great feeling!

kawoosh_girl--I am so glad you like everything!  I was really afraid the kindle cover would be too small since I didn;t have one to use as a sample. 

I received yesterday and I am utterly thrilled!  I can't post pics because my computer died Wednesday night, so if kawosh girl could post pics for me that would be awesome!  Otherwise I will have to wait till I have a working computer.

But, you will all be jealous.  I have my very own handknit Marcus Mumford doll.  He is amazingly cute.  Right down to his red boxers. She also sent some beautiful embroidered buttons and amazing embroidered cards.  They are embroidered with all the band members and some of their symbols.  I was totally blown away!  Thanks for everything you sent!
