I needed a nice holder for my DPNs, stitch markets, stitch holder clip, large eyed wool needle and a crochet hook. well. i say needed. what I actually needed was the excuse to use some leftover remnants of pretty fabric!

currently holding (and pictured with) my 4" stitch holder, antique bone crochet hook, size 4 bamboo DPNs and the yarn needle is in the lining at the edge.

This is cute, and a good idea!  I haven't heart the term gubbins before.

I'm on the hunt for a good roll pattern, myself.  This would be great for odds and ends I don't want to get lost!

gubbins is a northern english colloquialism lol.

well for this I measured 2x the length I wanted (for me, the length of my 4mm dpns so that' 13cm) and added another few cms for the flap.

I can't really let you know more because, frankly, I don't quite know how I managed it lol.
