Crafting is sexy!

This is my first project posted on craftster, so I wanted it to be something fun.  I knit this vibrator cozy for my girlfriend out of two skeins of Bernat Boa yarn in Partridge.  It was just going to be a rectangle, but I ended up increasing at the end for the fluted-looking top.  It turned out way too big, but that just means it holds more.  Wink  I picked up the ribbon on a whim and was pleasantly suprised at how well it matched when I got it home.  What do you guys think?

That is so cool. Do you have a pattern for it? I might want to make one for um, a friend. :::ahem:::  Wink

Thanks!  I actually just made it up as I went along.  I used a longer pair of size 10 needles and cast on almost the whole length of them.  I knit in garter stitch (the boa fluff makes it sort of pointless to do anything else, and it hides mistakes gracefully) until I thought it was long enough, bound off and left a long tail.  Then I just folded it in half and mattress stitched around the edges with the tail.

Unless you have a novelty size vibrator I am sure you could make a few vibe cozies with 1 skein, hehe.

That should work fine.  I didn't even finish the whole second skein, and three of 'em fit in there.
