Sweet!  Shocked It's an awesome example of "out of the box" thinking, using the attributes of repurposed garments in a very clever and unexpected way! I especially enjoy how the tiny strip of neck line seems to be the only piece of scrap material. And it has pockets too! Love it!

Whilst I'd question how original it is (I found this http://www.etsy.com/listing/58790999/double-t-shirt-dress-black-small?ref=sr_gallery_7&ga_search_submit=&ga_search_query=t+shirt+dress+cowl&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_facet=handmade months ago), I think this is by far the best interpretation of this idea that I've seen. I love the addition of the elastic in front, and I adore how your pockets lay (it sounds a silly thing, but I made a skirt from an old T based upon the dress linked above, and the pockets were all bunchy and super-ugly on my pear-shaped frame). I had shirts already set aside to make my version of the etsy dress, but I'd been putting it off because I'm a lazy bugger.... Time to get the sewing machine out methinks...

I just made mine the other day and used t-shirts way to big on me!

So I took it in and eliminated the pockets:

Thanks for the Tut it was a bunch of fun also it's saving me money as my hubby and I have been on a keto diet loosing inches like crazy Smiley I'm trying to refashion items in our closets rather than buying a whole new wardrobe before I get down to my goal. He is pretty much at his goal(he lost 80lbs) I'm about 40lbs away from mine.

That looks really nice daisycurls. Well done on the resizing of the dress - and of yourself of course.  I really must get a couple of large tshirts and try this for myself.

elderflower-Thank you. I think it looked better on me without pockets,it kinda was unflattering on backside  Cheesy

Damara-Thanks   Smiley The keto diet is basically high fat low carb, causing your body to burn fat instead of carbs. Here's a great FAQ on reddit that can explain it all better than I. http://www.reddit.com/help/faqs/keto#Whatisketo
