Here's how it looked before... Silver and purple frame. I wasn't too keen to say the least.

The paint work is by no means perfect - but it'll do! I took the stickers off the frame and sanded it lightly before cleaning it and gave it two coats of black enamel varnish. The crocheted seat cover was done without a pattern - I just traced the seat contours to make a template, crocheted the top bit flat, then crocheted a "skirt" around the whole thing and finished off by adding elastic. Job done!



Wouldn't mind getting some new handle bar grips and a fancy bell to complete the look...

totally rocks! looks slick and the crocheted seat cover is too cute - everything should be crochet covered IMO. lol

Maybe you could do some sort of fabric or crochet basket liner -ooh maybe one that doubles as a bag so you can take it out - do your shopping and presto back in the basket.
