Is it a total contradiction to have "tie-dye" and "army" in the same sentence?



My brother just graduated from Basic and AIT.  We had a little get together for him this weekend and I was in charge of the banner.  I started with a plain sheet and did my best to create a camo tie-dye (RIT kelley green and cocoa brown):



Then I cut and sewed the squares and used freezer paper stencils for the letters.



In use at the party:



I'm super proud of him!  Thanks for looking!

This is one of the BEST PROJECTS I've seen on Craftster!!  You are so awesome to make this for your brother and it looks fantastic - so inspiring too!   Cheesy  I'm hitting THIS ROCKS for your banner AND your brother!   Cheesy
