I has inspired by Llisaredd's huge green inchie picture to make my own, I chose purple as it is my and my DH's favourite colour. Here is the finished results:

It is only contains 325 inchies (quite a few less than Lisa's frame!). I'm really happy with how it has turned out. I picked up the frame from a garage sale for $2. But it was pale green and gold! I used some pearlesant paint that my girls had to paint it purple, got the board from the hardware $5, and attached the inchies with double sided tape. I filled in the gap around the edge using a dark purple card stock.

Inchies have come from all over the world for this project so thanks to (in no particular order) Mrs.LindsayLoo, MunLtstmpr, Blupaisan, Llisaredd, Christieann, Pioneer9, Rhymesworange, Blackabbey, Smmarrt, Tree27, How lovely, Yumjello01, craftycakelady, Crafty Butterfly (and her son - inchie bottom right or the frame 3rd in), Seeuudee, Coconutbells, Kimchery, CrazyAlien8, Cacey1201 and cleanfeelin.
(I think that is everyone, but please let me know if I missed you, I'd hate not to give credit where credit is due)

I also have more inchies on their way from Mxer145 (Canada and Australia post have kidnapped them atm!) and Shylitlegoddess. I plan to remove some of the more dodgy ones that I made and replace theirs in place when they arrive. I just couldn't wait to get it on the wall when I realised I finally have enough to fill the whole frame!

Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you !

It looks amazing... and very purple, of course.  I'm glad to have had a little part in it, the finished piece is exciting to see.
