my friend just had a baby so i had to make a cute little dress for her.  it was super easy to make, i used this tutorial on prudent baby: http://www.prudentbaby.com/2010/03/diy-pillowcase-baby-dress-pattern.html

i found rick rack that was soft and fuzzy for $1 at the fabric warehouse near me like 100 years ago and got it knowing that it would be perfect for something.  well this is it- i love the look of rick rack but it's kind of stiff and didn't want to put that on a tiny baby's dress, but the soft one is perfect.  i rick-racked the inside of the 'sleeves' too so it has a scalloped effect.  I hope that mommy and baby love it.

LOVE it!  and I was just looking for a tute for this too LOL  I need to get to chopping on dresses for my twins and also one to take our new baby home in LOL

Thanks for sharing!

Since my girls actually nap (knock on wood), I am going to start trying to work off my negative feedback.  Life got hectic with their early arrival.  I apologize for the inconveniences my flaking caused.

This fabric is so cute and what a great job of the dress. One little lady is going to be really happy!
