I was putting my son in the car to go to my baby sitting job yesterday when I noticed the mailman getting into his truck. I look over to see my Grandfather getting the mail and I notice a package in his hands. I yelled out to him before he could get into the house asking if it was for me. He came over and handed it to me since it was! I had to wait to open it until I got to my Mom's house to pick up my sister (we baby sit together so I can take my friend to work as sibling watches them) and it was well worth the wait!

Look at that face! I love the Halloween fabric on it. I wish I'd gotten a picture of the sweet smile my son got when he saw it. He loves faces so much now.

What's this? He has a friend?! Well, hello little fellow! Aren't you darling?

I am glad I decided on some extras cause there was a lovely journal, some cute as heck skull fabric, and a some really cool bone erasers in there too. I managed to misplace the wonderful note she included though I think it's in my crafting bag. I feel so spoiled! Smiley

A picture of them all together. Yay! Thank you so much susanab!

I just opened my package from Makaylalee, and I am blown away by the stuffie she made in only a few short days. Can you believe she sent this out only 4 days after receiving partners?!?

Let me introduce you to the most amazing and thoughtful phoenix stuffie on the planet!

I was literally speechless when I unwrapped her. Look at her embroidery and beading!

Her beak and her feet are made of polymer clay, how cool is that?!?

I am going to find a place of honor to hang her once I move to my new home, I am blown away by her craftsmanship!

Her colors are so bright and vibrant! And all the little details! She's sewn felt, with embroidery on the wings, down her back, and on some of the tail feathers, she has little crystals on the tail feathers and as eyes, plus the polymer clay beak and feet!

To top it off, Makaylalee sent a little magnet friend for my new fridge! A bighorn sheep!

Thank you so much Makaylalee, I will treasure this phoenix forever! Your stuffie was done...until I had another idea that I had to include. I worked on it during my layover today, so hopefully I can get it all done and off to you soon!
