So, as far as level of difficulty goes, this is a little lame, but it makes up for it in fun! I can't post pictures yet, so here's a link:

Two sided, no less!

It's really, really big. Hand engulfingly so. Officially I'm going to tell you it's because I'd like it to double as a trivet. Honestly, I just didn't feel like grabbing a preexisting potholder, so I just made it bigger than my hand...which was silly, apparently. I've never crocheted tapestry with any success, so I was pretty happy about this little victory!

Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks! My kitchen is so beige, it's depressing, so that's part of an ongoing project to make cooking less horrifying an experience!

I've never had success with tapestry either, but I think you really nailed it with this one. Great work!

I'm just learning tapestry myself, yours is great! I should really make some potholders rather than using my sleeves/washcloths Smiley

Hooray! I helped! Seriously though, thanks for all the feedback. I'm probably going to make some of these for Christmas, so if they're funky looking, I gotta know!
