Just finished some zippered pouches and tissue cozies for my nieces Sweet Sixteen this weekend. Since the remodeling of the my craftroom my fabric has been in storage bins. Just unpacked all the bins and my room is ready for some crafting. It looks so much bigger. Still have to do the permanent countertops, right now using some old tables. *off to enjoy my "new" room.

C-i-t: ooooh, a newly remodeled craft room Shocked
Lucky!
ooooh - a CRAFT ROOM, remodeled or not!  My house was built in the 1930s, and I love it, porch swing and all, but my sewing and quilting begins in the bedroom, and spills over into my dining room - sometimes the living room too, but hey, isn't that what these rooms are for - LIVING!!!  AND SEWING!!  I'm a little green over your craft room, craft-in-tally!!  Sounds exciting, your remodel!   Cheesy

I am sad.  I had ordered a swatch of monster fabric when Spoonflower was having the 'free swatch' day.  DH just pointed out to me that the order probably hasn't been shipped yet, and I realized that he's probably right.  That fabric was just so cool.  Now I'll have to make a run to Joann's and see what they have in stock.

On the upside...I noticed someone wearing something very appropriate for this swap and I asked her where she got it.  She told me and I went there tonight and purchased some monstery goodness for my swap partners!

I also completed two projects-one for each of my partners-while I had a friend visiting today!

My practice hungry monster, about 6":

It took about an hour because I was fussing around with stitches on the eyes, and then I put a button on anyway.
The fabric is from Daiso, the $1.50 Japanese store full of "Made in China" stuff!

Eye detail:

And I could only find creamy white felt instead of white white felt so off to the fabric store tomorrow!

Not to fear Miss Barbara, I'm sure your monsters will be wonderful. I also ordered a swatch from spoonflower and am really curious how long it will take to get here.

I swear it's only been a couple days since I posted on here, and the forum exploded! I read to page 10 but had to stop.

So far:
Cleaning: 0
Crafting: 0
Craftster: 2. or so.

Between ... now and Monday I have to wash dishes (or hide them in the oven), clean my apartment (or... stuff everything into a box in the corner).... cook for a potluck at work tomorrow and company for dinner... work on both my craftster swaps, and sew a mock-up outfit out of Muslim, then the real thing. Plus I'm going camping this weekend.

So... if anybody sees me online, yell at me Tongue I'll peek in on Friday and try catching up with reading posts. Have fun everyone!

Well I have not started yet! Sorry!!!

I have moved to a new position at work and its been a hectic week also we have had new windows and doors through the house this week so my sewing room is full of junk moved from other rooms to let the window men get at the windows.......how did we accumulate sooooooo much stuff???

Anyway I will be done and dusted by Sunday night!

I am also taking part in an auction tomorrow for a hand cranked Jones sewing machine, went to the viewing day and she looked in excellent condition and was so pretty!!! I hope I win her......I've already named her! LOL
