Oregon Trail Binder Cover

I had decided to participate in a challenge on another video game-themed crafty website, with the theme of Back to School. I started thinking school supplies right away. Then I remembered that I used to love to play Oregon Trail when I was a kid in school, so I used that game to create my pattern.
The whole thing took me about 3 weeks to make; I didn't work on it everyday, though. I am very pleased with how it turned out. I only wish I had had one of these back when I was in school!

I did find a site once (sent to me by a friend) where you could play Oregon Trail, but it wouldn't let me play "disk 2" for some reason, so I never got to finish it.  seeing this makes me want to find another place to play!

Oh how I miss the hunting, and how you'd always end up with hundreds more pounds of meat than your cart could possibly carry! Great project, it takes me back. Never mind being in school, I may have to make something like this to hold crochet hooks, or some other crafty supplies.

Love it! Not only is it classic Oregon Trail (which I played all of the time when I was a kid) and very well done but I love the fact that you made it a binder cover!
