WhiteSheep, that's a great Batman hoop you made!

After seeing all the fantastic embroidered hoops on here it makes me wish I knew how to do that instead of just cross stitch.

Its never to late to learn! Wink
I always think the same about cross stitch!

Just cross stitch?? Well you should take a look at this!

Here's my hoop from Megzy818! The shading on the skull is my favorite part. Did you find this pattern or make it? I really love it though. It's so old school tattoo and really beautiful. Thank you so much. I swear you make me the best hoops ever Smiley

whoa that's awesome!!  I love the subtle blues on the skull.

"just" cross stitch!?  It takes twice as long, is usually crazy complicated, involves way more work, I think!

I didn't make the pattern it was one of three I tried choosing from in the Ed Hardy "Love Kills Slowly" pattern book that I got at Borders before it closed. It's not the full pattern either but I still like the way it came out.

Glad you ladies like it. Smiley

I so want that book! It looked so cool. But sadly I don't cross stitch! Maybe I could ask my Grandma to do it? Though I don't think she cross stitches anymore since she gave me all her floss a few years back!

As promised, here is my hoop from bambii8899!

She went with my like of steampunk for inspiration. She used several different mediums. There's gold puff paint, some type of clay for the green swirly thing, and she even sewed in a golden chain.Smiley

Thanks bambii8899! Hopefully your hoop will get to you soon!

I didn't mean it that way - I know there are incredible cross stitch patterns and I've done some in the past.  I meant I wished I could embroider as well as cross-stitch.
