"just" cross stitch!?  It takes twice as long, is usually crazy complicated, involves way more work, I think!

I didn't make the pattern it was one of three I tried choosing from in the Ed Hardy "Love Kills Slowly" pattern book that I got at Borders before it closed. It's not the full pattern either but I still like the way it came out.

I so want that book! It looked so cool. But sadly I don't cross stitch! Maybe I could ask my Grandma to do it? Though I don't think she cross stitches anymore since she gave me all her floss a few years back!

As promised, here is my hoop from bambii8899!



She went with my like of steampunk for inspiration. She used several different mediums. There's gold puff paint, some type of clay for the green swirly thing, and she even sewed in a golden chain.
