I've made alot of things for my boyfriend (now husband) through the years, but I had to think of something very special and unique as a present for him on our wedding day (March 4, 2011 if you were wondering)... We both love the Simpsons' (and Futurama) and the first present I ever made him was a soul donut based on Treehouse of Horrors IV (episode 86), so in keeping with that theme I wanted to make him something that would be reminiscent of the donut that brought us together... So I decided to make pig cufflinks from episode 122 "Lisa's Wedding"...For those who haven't seen that episode, Homer presents Lisa's fiance with a tacky pair of cuff links (a bride and groom pig) that all Simpsons men have worn on their wedding day  Grin:

Here is my attempt to recreate these cufflinks... (note: this is my first time with clay, please be gentle  Wink)

Here's an action shot... (we had alot of fun at our wedding lol)

Now the cufflinks (and my hat, did not make the hat) are on display in our bedroom...

Hope someone enjoys this project as much as I did  Grin...
