immediately upon seeing this vivat veritas pattern: http://grosgrainfabulous.blogspot.com/2011/05/free-pattern-month-day-18-vivat-veritas.html#lotus i thought about doing circle cut outs in the scallop waist... which after much procrastinating has finally been achieved... i gave my skirt a back zip instead of a side, and angled the waist band at the zipper rather than leaving the straight line she had... the waist still jumps away from my body a little bit 'cause i used a stiffer fabric... but i'm overall pretty happy, happy enough to share at least... comments and criticisms welcome and appreciated...
