I had a boring old lamp which did nothing to complement the sweet silk shade I got marked down 75% off at pottery barn. Anyway, I wrapped tulle around it, glued it into place, then wrapped around a gold organza ribbon, and glued that into place. Simple, yet I like.

Cheers!
