I found a pack of five Fat Quarters while on holiday and loved each one... so when I got back I started messing about with some designs, heavuily inspired by Alex Henry's stylised bird fabrics.



and this one which was submitted to a local craft competition...

i agree both fabulous, but have to admit the second is also my favourite! well done - dont know why but I always struggle with basic bird outline! so seriously jealous!! Grin

Farmer's wife, make a circle for the head, a bigger one for the body which slightly overlaps and then try to freehand the outline. it takes a few goes, but it's worth the pain lol.
