Sister Tree

it was recently my fabulous sister lanikins happy happy birthday.  if you are familiar with lanikins at all, i can imagine you can imagine someone with her talent and awesomeness can be pretty intimidating/frustrating to make a gift for 
i've been pretty crazy about stitchin as of late, so this i what i came up with, to coordinate with her bedroom.  pattern is from Doodle Stitching by Aimee Ray, which i completely adore!  this is my largest and most complicated embroidery to date, hurray!



used stem stitch for the tree trunk, and some back stitch and mediocre satin stitching throughout
