Yep! You read that right! Smiley Adults (especially men) and children love this. Makes sure it is a surprise though. Then you can see their faces when they try to comprehend what you have made. Cheesy See if they can figure out how you made it!

All you need is a package of  your favorite hot dogs, kielbasa, turkey dogs, etc. and 1 package of spaghetti noodles. Can use whole wheat pasta.

*Bring to boil a large pot of water.
*Cut your hot dogs, kielbasa, etc. into large bite size pieces.
*Stick your raw spaghetti noodles through the raw hot dog pieces in various places. Try not to have it coming out the other side. Cause we all know octopus don't have tentacles from their head. Wink
*Place the octopus hot dogs into the boiling water. Cook until the hot dogs are ready to eat. Add an additional cooking time of 5 minutes to ensure that the spaghetti in the center of the hot dog is well cooked, too.
You can add pasta sauce, ketchup or whatever your family would like. Add a salad and this is an easy and fun dinner.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Such a hoot when your family sees these things! Smiley

What a fun dish! Cheesy

I can see making it with Italian sausage and adding a light marinara sauce for an easy summer dinner!

really cute. i also do hot dog octopus, but not quite like this, for kids. it doesn't result in 8 legs, but it's still fun. leaving a couple inches at the top for the head, make 2 verticle cuts the rest of the way down. when you boil them, the "legs" curl up. when they're done, i use a toothpick to make eyes. and then serve with ketchup.
