I whipped up some of this last week for my sister in law & myself. I was surprised at two things... how long it took to whip & how awesome it was on my body! It was really easy to make, but I thought I'd see it start to thicken after a couple minutes vs. the 10 + minutes it took as I had never made it before. I will be making it again though! We scented it with coconut & it smells heavenly!

Soap licking is dangerous..please dont try it at home

Oooo that does look heavenly!  Are you able to share the recipe?

Ingredients:
2 generous tbsps of shea butter
2 generous tbsps of coccoa butter
1 tbsp. almond oil
1 tbsp. honey
2 tsp. grapeseed oil
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. fragrance of your choice

i tried doing this once and it was a disaster. id  love some tips!
don't give up & try again. I think putting the mixing bowl into an ice bath helps it set up faster.  Wink

Looks great! Did you fragrance it?
I sure did! Coconut!!! Still feeling the summer love here!

LOL! Have you your own hives...or just a honey tree in the forest where you have to disguise yourself as a raincloud to harvest some?  Smiley

That looks fantastic. I love coconut smells. I've always wanted to try to make some for gifts. I did a body scrub once but wasn't a fan.
Can you use a stand mixer or is handheld better (since an ice bath helps it)?
Once its whipped does it stay that way?
