I bought my Kindle on the spur of the moment and the only covers in the shop were a horrendous 20-50 and I didn't even like them!!! Instead of leaving my new toy unprotected until I bought a cover from ebay, I decided to knit it a sock (and try out some new yarn I had recently bought).....which turned into a sock with a flap and button fastening.......the n as it didn't feel very thick, I lined it ........then I added a flower or 4...........with beaded centres  Grin At that point I took some pics. Later on I remembered some lace I had left over from another project and some pretty little buttons. Needless to say my humble little Kindle sock has evolved, and will probably continue to do so until I can't fit anything else on it.

This has been suck an enjoyable project I may find other things which need cosying up  Cheesy

As I'm more of a lurker than a poster I can only add links to pics, so here it is http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=247007&id=540281086&l=6f625db6c6

That's one lucky Kindle you got there!  I love the beaded center of the flowers.

With those natural colors and the flowers, it almost seems as if the project didn't "evolve" so much as it grew like a tree.  I don't think an ebay-bought one could look as good as this.  <3

Ooh this is awesome!  I'm about to treat myself to a Kindle and have been agonizing over what ugly case to get but not anymore!  Thanks for the inspiration & hope mine turns out half as pretty as yours did!
